We have skilled and educated professionals who are able to provide learning communities about FASD awareness, support and prevention. These sessions care designed to address the unique learning needs of the participants.
We are able to provide
– 20 minute presentations that address the topic of FASD;
– 1-3 hour workshops that can address best practice intervention strategies as well as
– full day workshops for communities that want to better understand the challenges of those living with an FASD and
want to make a difference in the lives of those impacted.
Workshops for Foster Care or Adoptive parents will find these workshops especially helpful.
Other professional communities we do customized workshops for include justice, medical or educational communities.
We also present and participate in University of BC Okanagan (UBCO) Social Work, Nursing and Aboriginal Studies classes. Practicum students from UBCO and University of Victoria are also invited to complete their studies in our clinic.
Workshops for the general community are often presented. Notices of these workshops will be made on the website or by contacting the office at 250 938 5022.
